We brought photography into existence because of our innate desire to preserve something in time, be it a scene, a person, an action or event. And when we really got the hang of it we discovered that images, much like reality, are subjective. We can’t prove that we see everything in the exact same way, much like we can’t really capture the exact same image every time we take a picture. Viewing his art photography is like stepping into a tantalizing world of fantasy mixed in with sedated surrealism. He puts people - often as fantasy figures- in contexts they wouldn’t normally belong in and the results are captivating to say the least. His ability to conceptualize bright and attractive scenes bursting with beautifully crafted elements of surprise, are nothing short of astounding mainly because of their apparent but not organic harmony.He has a special penchant for fashion photography as well. There’s something moody about his approach and the resulting aesthetic. The focus  of our attention is primarily directed on the clothes. While the models themselves are glossy and attractive, the details on the fabrics get center stage. His incorporation of texture is highly seductive; it’s helped significantly by the way the models tend to be positioned and the way the background tends to play up the lighting accents.  The nicest thing about them is the fact that they are not true to life, we know that they are manipulated, which makes enjoying their astounding elegance a little easier for the general public.
