Contour Designer Launches Eco-friendly Swim Line
More than Swim is an eco-friendly line that focuses on the consumer feeling comfortable, while practicing sustainable fashion at the same time. Available to both men and women, and with many accessories to choose from, the collection boasts a plethora of strong animal prints and colors. For each purchase, a percentage is donated to @plasticoceansuk to offset the carbon footprint of each sale. Sandra Palmer, the founder behind More than Swim says, "I believe you shouldn’t sacrifice fashion for function. There’s room for both. A flattering, supportive, stylish bikini or one-piece swimsuit made with eco-conscious materials and all wrapped up in Earth friendly packaging - what more can a girl-on-the-go ask for? More than Swim offers beautiful prints inspired by endangered species."
Sandra Palmer is contour designer with over 10 years’ experience. Contour design is the art of making garments that are worn close to the body, so that includes swimwear and lingerie. When designing a garment, Sandra prides her collections on quality and comfort going hand in hand with aesthetics
At More than swim, they use only modern light weight luxury swimwear fabrics, that have great wash and drying properties. That are also have a lightweight look and feel, with the bonus of having SPF50+.
We adopt a process where we use eco-friendly inks which are directly transferred onto the fabric. The fabric is printed to size and shape, cut, and sewn reducing the brand’s environmental impact. Each garment is made to order which reduces waste output, and when it comes to the dying process eco-friendly inks are transferred direct to the fabric, which in turn lessens water pollution.
More Than Swim is functional and fashionable collection; this brand is all about everlasting style where the focus is creating swimwear with one of kind prints that focus on ‘Ocean plight awareness.’ Each suit is handcrafted and will make you look and feel gorgeous no matter what your size or shape.
