Yeah Yeah Yeahs to release Mosquito on April 16th, 2013

It’s been a while since the Yeah Yeah Yeahs released new music; their last album, It’s Blitz debuted in March of 2009. Because “Heads Will Roll” and “Zero” were some of the best tracks out that year, we are super excited to learn about the band’s new project, which is a bit overdue in our humble opinion.Musical zinger Karen O, along with the mega talented, Nick Zinner and Brian Chase, compose the super trendy band; their next big release, Mosquito, hits stores on April 16^th, 2013. The album marks a new direction for the band. Presenting it as their own version of soul music, it is going to feature “something for everyone”. It is their 4^th studio album.Never to shy away from a bit of controversy, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs released the music video for their album’s first single, “Sacrilege”. In it, gorgeous model Lily Cole makes a rather scandalous appearance.
