HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYBODY!How amazing is this holiday? It’s going to be fun walking around the city tonight. We simply can’t wait to see all the ghouls, zombies, and sexy – anything really, but what people wear isn’t the only noteworthy thing about this crazy awesome holiday. It’s the all-around creativity that we’re totally digging, like the kind we’ve recently seen at The Rise
What is The Rise you ask? OK, perhaps you didn’t ask but we are going to tell you about it anyway. It is one of the coolest things ever! Yes, EVER!The Rise, which is short for The Rise of the Jack O’Lanterns, annually takes place in Long Island's Westbury Gardens for 17 nights – October weekends through the fist weekend of November. That’s right, this weekend is the last weekend you can attend. The fact is, you totally and absolutely should. Here’s why:- The Westbury Gardens are beautiful.- You will be able to see over 5,000 incredible pumpkins carved by local artists.- There are many interesting carving themes that range from classic art and famous celebrities to superheroes and scary movies.- There is a ghost walk.- It’s absolutely spectacular if you go at night! You could see all the different lit-up structures created out of pumpkins; yes, there are in fact structures.
It is also a great way to give your Halloween a really beautiful and inspiring ending! So, are you going or what?Info and Image Source:
