Artist Michelle Vella is Taking Social Media by Storm

With her expressionistic style, it is easy to see the influence the great works of Chagall, Clemente, and Picasso have on the unique art of Michelle Vella.

Originally a drawer inspired by high fashion photography, Vella has begun transferring her loose lines and vibrant colors to canvas where she continues to portray her characters with exaggerated large owl like eyes with fanning lashes and pouty lips. She has a very active Instagram account to which she attributes as the main platform for her audience and for gaining more and more followers and fans.

Based out of Toronto, Canada, Michelle continues to be an innovative artist captivating designers, celebrity fashion icons, and bloggers. “As long as I can remember I liked to draw. Being creative is a part of me, it’s like breathing, I can’t live without it; this is my brush with fashion” says Vella.
