Silken Luxury

La Katz creates classic and timeless silk products. All too often, clothing is manufactured through processes that hurt the environment. With this in mind, Laura Sänger, founder of La Katz, has made it her mission to create a clothing company that doesn’t hurt the environment. Every detail, from yarn to packaging, has been rethought, and all clothing designed has skin-friendliness in mind.

For La Katz, beauty goes beyond the design of a garment. La Katz silk is certified and follows a strict, holistic concept that does not harm people, the environment, or animals. La Katz’s silk is made in India through an entirely organic and natural process. The coloring is done in Austria by using a certified process recognized to be organic.  The yarn made in Germany is cotton and thus free from harmful substances. Finally, the packaging is made in Austria and it's entirely biodegradable. La Katz's pieces take in mind the need of those who desire high-quality luxury clothing to enter their wardrobe for the creation of a casual daily elegance that can find space in everyday life or on a special occasion. Simple, graceful, and chic – a classic beauty is elaborated with a more cosmopolitan aura.  From its majestic chic lines to its world of colors, La Katz always seeks to offer a variety of choices to those who choose this brand.

La Katz advertises itself on many benefits, three of which are listed below.

1)    La Katz uses organic and untreated silk in its clothing so that it hydrates and nourishes the skin. For conventional silk, the natural benefits of silk are lost due to the use of pesticides and dangerous chemicals.

2)    Silk clothing is the only textile with an anti-aging & lifting effect. Silk contains sericin, which nourishes, soothes, hydrates, and plumps, leaving skin luminous and smooth.

3)    It allows the skin to breathe so minimizing sweat retention, which would lead to pimples and irritation.
