Athleticism blended perfectly with fashion at the Fanatic XII tournament held at Brooklyn Bridge Park hosted by Adidas, a lifelong supporter of the beautiful footballing heritage.Loaded with live music performances and numerous sponsored game booths, this was an event made for football fanatics. Adidas once again took the pitch to New York City. In this soccer championship, it pinned some of downtown New York’s best restaurants, clothing brands, and publications in heated competitions.adidas-fanatic-new-york-2013-recap-1At times, people tend to lose sight of how much fun a sport can solely be and it’s due to the fact that everyone’s just trying to get to the next level. This tournament is the pure essence of having some fun, enjoying the sport and of course, flashing their newest clothed goodies. The 2013 showing featured lots of familiar names including Opening Ceremony, Miss. Lily’s, The Smile, BLK DNM, Complex FC, Ace Hotel, The Standard Hotel, Visionaire, and The Green Soccer Journal. Naturally, the fashion icons cheered on the competitors and enjoyed free ice cream cones while donning their sporty articles.
