Sanctuary Found at Nalai Spa

Park Hyatt New York, the flagship hotel of the globally recognized Park Hyatt brand, is unveiling the concept behind its spa, Nalai, which will open this summer. Nalai will offer discerning guests a completely customized spa experience in a sun-drenched sanctuary perched above Midtown Manhattan.

Nalai will feature a selection of custom spa treatments tailored to meet a wide variety of guests’ needs, utilizing specially commissioned products from Carita Paris, H. Gillerman Organics and Stemulation. “We’re thrilled to offer our guests truly customized wellness and healing practices within an unparalleled, therapeutic environment at Park Hyatt New York’s Nalai,” said Amy Olthoff, Spa Director for Nalai. “Through our atelier approach, which utilizes both state-of-the-art technology as well as ancient healing practices, Nalai will tune into each guest’s individual needs to promote wellness and rejuvenation.”

Nalai’s signature treatment is founded on the ancient tradition of earthing, identified as the practice of employing the Earth’s energy by grounding the body to the Earth’s natural surfaces. The experience, which will be offered through Nalai’s state-of-the-art sand quartz bed, the first of its kind in New York City, pampers guests with luxury linens atop a warmed bed of quartz and sand. Nalai’s signature treatment is followed by a warm stemps, or poultice massage, cradled in the healing powers of quartz and enhanced with a complementary amuse bouche.
