Rimmel London has introduced a breakthrough in digital technology with its innovative new GET THE (LONDON) LOOK mobile app: the first-ever real-time 3D make-up simulation application that enables consumers to try out other people’s make-up styles. Developed by creative agency, Holition, using their highly advanced FACE technology, it’s now possible to point a phone or tablet at a friend’s made-up face then virtually try on the same look using colour-matched cosmetics by Rimmel.
The launch of the GET THE (LONDON) LOOK app coincides with Rimmel’s ongoing effort to give its Millennial consumers what they are really after. The new app comes just months after Rimmel’s very first International Vlogger contest, and is just one example of the many upcoming digital innovations and actions for the brand.
