Kacy Yom had an early introduction to her mother’s luxury handbags. She even noted how each bag only got better with age. Born in South Korea, raised in the Pacific Northwest, and having traveled to many parts of the world, Yom grew up with a global perspective of fashion. Her passion for their quality and craftsmanship led her from the tech industry to owning a boutique handbag shop, Arm Candy, in Seattle’s historic Ballard neighborhood. Arm Candy served as a creative outlet inspiring her to design her own line, KACYYOM. Striving to deliver leather that aged beautifully, like her mother’s beloved bags, partner with a family-owned handbag factory in Tuscany, where all KACYYOM handbags are assembled by Italian artisans.
