Although I was still in college when my mother started Click, throughout those years I was inspired by the excitement of the modeling industry. It felt like a natural segue for me to jump into the business.RAINE: What advice would you give to aspiring models?GRILL: To have confidence, to be comfortable with yourself and to be yourself. Be patient. Don’t try to look like other models. Trust and believe that you have something special to offer.RAINE: What is a challenge that you have had to overcome and what steps did you take?GRILL: Following in my mother’s footsteps! I stepped into Click several years after the agency opened. I needed to cut my own path and have the confidence in myself that I could scout and develop new talent.RAINE: What is the most fun part of working with CLICK Models?GRILL: I am so lucky that I work with my friends and it is a real family at Click, even the models are family to me. Working with the same people I love every day for so many years has been a real gift. Of course, finding a new model is always exciting and fun!RAINE: What has been the best piece of advice given to you?GRILL: The best advice was given to me by mother. She said to believe in your vision, believe in yourself, and always keep your eyes open when you are in public because you never know when you are going to find your next big star!RAINE: In your business how do you make sure that CLICK Models stands out from the competition?GRILL: I don’t look at the competition. I believe in the models I represent and am always excited to present them to clients and photographers.RAINE: How has social media changed how you find new faces?GRILL: You don’t even have to get out of your chair – every area of social media is an avenue for finding new faces. There’s Instagram, Facebook, online submissions and more. Although I still enjoy getting out of my chair, scouting wherever I am, the old fashioned way!RAINE: What has been a funny moment that you have had working with models?GRILL: There are so many fun and funny moments. Working with so many different personalities, there’s never a dull moment!RAINE: If you weren’t working with CLICK Models, what other passions would you pursue?GRILL: I would love to work with teenagers and nutrition and health, which I incorporate into my dealings with models on an everyday basis.RAINE: Who has been your biggest inspiration and why?GRILL: My mother Frances Grill! My mom was an innovator in the fashion business and she created something great from nothing. She was always willing to take chances, and she believed in what she did and that made things happen. She was ahead of her time and was always ahead of the curve as well
