Nolcha Fashion Week - Léka

Definitive designer, McQueen has set the bar for most fashionistas – claiming the title of America’s twenty-first century fashion prodigy. The cleverest part of this affair is the dashing ripple set onto other fellow designers. Without delay several other provocative and sleek collections are seeking limelight. During last week’s 6th Nolcha Fashion Week, Léka did her best to captivate her audience with a fierce yet deviant collection.PBN_6435Designer Léka and her three finale pieces at Nolcha Fashion Week, Sept. 11thAdjourned towards bright lustrous colors Léka stuck with neutrals and classics for her collection. Displaying mainly black, bits of red, minimum white proportions, and one vicious beige piece - her supply of garments were a vision of boldness. Her inspiration is driven from her architectural roots, demonstrating beautiful structural designs. With her black-swan sans angelic themed pieces, they refused to have one blind eye in the house. From lace to leather and mixing in chiffon to caulk up the sophistication - the most vocalized material had to be, the feathers. Not only were they done tastefully, it raised a fever pitch where the cameras never stopped rolling.PBN_6316-s PBN_6332Léka has worked in the sphere of architectural and landscape design for quite sometime and has taken part in international design competitions in the past. With her expertise, fashion design practically came inherently. Léka comments; “I travel a lot and get inspired by modern architecture. Large scale looks of the facades and various spatial constructions help me to think global, allow me to move from the whole picture perception and to focus on the details. A woman’s dress to me is a space where a woman can exist.”PBN_6197 PBN_6137Her brand stems from the applications of innovative, fresh architectural ideas. The bustiers were perfectly aligned with the formation of her constructivism bottoms, creating a rawness that each model was able to exhibit during her runway. Furthermore, Léka has three new branches under her label - Léka Fine Papers, Léka Fleurs and Léka Wedding Line, all whom reflect upon the designer's core collection.PBN_6385Oozing vintage glamour, Léka has surpassed quality compared to most of the lines showcased during Nolcha Fashion Week and achieved genuine compliments of refinement and grace. View the runway below:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3_Q657Pg760&feature=youtube_gdata  PHOTO SOURCE: Nolcha Fashion Week Press Images // Paul Newman FashionStock
