JEREMY SCOTT for MOSCHINO

On their 13th birthday - Moschino named Jeremy Scott to be their newest creative director. This is the ultimate intern success story, as Scott was previously an Moschino intern. Rossella Jardini, will be retiring as Moschino's former creative director since 94' and Scott will have his official debut in Milan, February next year. The whimsical L.A. designer has marketed his own brand since 97' and is fit for the position. His idiosyncratic and quirky aesthetic is the flawless match with Moschino's creative, ingenious brand of 30 years. His collaboration with the Adidas Originals collection back 2002, sparked much of the sportswear fashion from being sensible to fashionable.jeremy-scott-spring-2014-runway-show

His trend-setting, obscure prints of the infamous Bart Simpson has been favored with celebrities high and low. Superstars such as Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Lady Gaga, Beyonce and Ciara are all fans of Scott's personal line. This farm boy from Missouri has made quite the empire for himself, capitalizing on unconventional prints idolized by the youthful. And yes, it was Jeremy Scott who dressed Britney Spears as a badly behaved flight attendant in her 'Toxic' video back in 03'.

His collections have ranged from neon cotton knit material to floral printed raincoats; diversity is not an issue for the designer. The determined designer sees this new post, not as a challenge but as an opportunity portal. Giving him a chance to prove his dedication to Moschino with groundbreaking designs come February.
