David Koma’s Limited Designed HTC One Mini

The Taiwanese mobile manufacturer has recently teamed up with David Koma, a rising British fashion designer to launch the special edition of the new HTC One Mini. The luxury edition of the Android smartphone will be available in two versions, featuring the designer’s creative artwork on the back of its aluminum plate.  But, before you get your hopes up though, the trendy One Mini is oh-so-limited that only 10 handsets will be tailored. It isn’t for sale as well.

Here’s How You Can Afford One

If you are interested to get your hands on the sexiest mobile on the planet, you have to join the Twitter-based competition hosted by HTC's UK Twitter account(@htc_uk), which will run from September 4 to 23. A self-created abstract artwork needs to be submitted addressing the subject of “change.” It also has to be inspired by one of Koma’s line of fashionable couture. The designer himself will judge the prestigious competition. Hopefully, someone from the United States will be picked as one of the 10 lucky winners, since not a lot of carriers here offer the One Mini on their shelves. It will work with 4G networks here in the USA including the Big Red’s widest LTE mobile internet coverage. The device is originally designed as a mid-tier device, targeted at the emerging markets abroad and selected European regions.A Closer Look At The DesignAll rights reserved by abbeyjerrems 2According to Pocket-lint, the gizmo will bear David Koma’s two new abstract artworks on its back plating. Inspired by the “idea of change,” the first one will be based on his autumn/winter 2013 collection and the second will give flavor to what his theme will be on the upcoming spring/summer 2014 runway show. These fabulous gadgets will be unveiled at the upcoming London Fashion Week event happening this September 14.For the first model, the HTC One Mini boasts of a dominant black and white abstract figure on its rear shell.  It appears to be a four-layered crossed infinity sign. The camera sensor is still very visible along with the HTC branding on the middle. On the lower portion, an authentic David Koma logo is located, just above the beats audio indicator near the bezel. On the other hand, the second one is a mixture of vertical, horizontal, and slanting black pattern against the phone’s silver shell. If seen from afar, the second edition looks like a phone covered with zebra skin leather.SpecificationsAll rights reserved by abbeyjerrems 1Android fans and technophiles will definitely adore the gizmo.
