Solange Knowles is finally redeeming her limelight without fail. Her track “Losing You” has received over 5.5 million hits on YouTube, is reinventing the term of Ghetto Fab and doing a splendid job. The music video was shot in South Africa in Cape Town’s townships using Sapeurs style as a fashion inspiration.

The track was produced by Blood Orange’s Devonte Hynes using Cape Town as a cultural encouragement to showcase its originality. Recorded for Knowles’s upcoming third studio album, it is claim for an R&B song with pop and electronic music. Directed by Melina Matsoukas, it peaked quickly as number 22 on the UK Indie Chart.

Knowles has cited her musical influences as Motown girl groups such as The Supremes and The Marvelettes. Knowles has also been known to pursue writing songs rather than any other trade within the music industry; she has collaborated with numerous songwriters and producers in the past.

Recently I’ve even spotted her on Black Cab Sessions belting out her sweet vocals.
