Tusheti Georgia:No, not the state. Georgia is a country that was once part of the USSR, having since gained its independence in 2003 as a result of the Rose Revolution. That means people have only been allowed to start visiting for 12 years, making it a destination that is both new and underrated. Tusheti offers some of the best biking in the world thanks to the fact that it rises above sea level with some pretty great mountain views.

Slovenia:Smaller than other European countries close to the Alps, Slovenia is very similar in aesthetics to Switzerland, but much less crowded. It too has great mountain panoramic and outdoor fun to be had.

Nepal ( Tibet):
Where else can you visit the home of the highest mountain in the world, Mt. Everest? With hikes that promise great views, you can also spend time looking for the mythical Shangri-La.

Cuba:
We've discussed Cuba quite a lot in previous weeks, but the fact that the U.S. is easing its tensions with the island nation and opening embassies there is pretty cool. Plus, it's even more south than Florida so you can count on it being super warm there! Be going, check out our guide on how to visit it.
