Street Gallerist to Nike Campaign
Julie Gray’s first creation and major milestone was “PLAYHAUS”, known as a street art gallery, located in Houston, TX. The Gallery allowed Gray to expand outside of her comfort and creativity. Shortly after, she appeared on Nike’s campaign as “Day in life” filming BTS of her murals and paintings around the city of Houston. Other memorable appearances include event coordination for Hip-Hop Artist Fabolous for “Summertime Shootout 3 Release Dinner.'' Gray produced and curated an intimate and elite guest list while guests enjoyed conversations amongst Houston’s finest in the industry. Though these are some of her latest performances, her talent does not go unnoticed in the city. She has been on many panel discussions and taken part in speaking engagements regarding entrepreneurship and brand partnerships.
Growing up in Boston, Massachusetts Julie Gray knew from a young age she was unique and creative. As part of, first generation immigrants from Vietnam she took great pride in her culture and background. Driven by a desire to make a change, Gray decided that she wanted to pursue a career in arts and entertainment. Noticing her passion to reach her goal, she built organic relationships with others within the industry sharing likeminded goals. While making her mark in the world, she continued to pursue her dream of creating in hopes of building her empire one visual at a time.
Gray continues to take Houston by storm. She is the lead visual artist at many hot restaurants in the city and event venues in Houston. She is also showcasing her talent behind art with her hottest wardrobe pieces and footwear. Aside from creating, Gray is expanding her repertoire as an entrepreneur and philanthropists with resourceful charity work knitted closely to her heart. In addition, she is working on a few event series projects in Houston monthly, gearing to the creatives of the culture.
When she is not busy, Gray enjoys reading, and catching up on her favorite R&B playlist .Gray loves traveling and has lived all over Europe for almost a decade in her twenties bouncing from country to country. She is lived in Czech Republic, Greece, Germany, Poland, France, Cyprus, Turkey, and Belarus. She currently resides in the Houston area.
