Book Launch: Unbroken by Dr. Trisha Bailey

Founder of Raine Magazine, Nova Lorraine, had the opportunity to attend the NY Press event for the book launch of Dr. Trisha Bailey, where Dr. Bailey signed her memoir "Unbroken: The Triumphant Story of a Woman's Journey”.

And who is Dr. Trisha Bailey? Her many accomplishments include being the wealthiest Jamaican-born woman ever. As her book outlines, on her life's journey she had to endure a lot of trauma and abuse. Overcoming these terrible hurdles, Dr. Trisha Bailey went on to found an entrepreneurial empire which includes multiple pharmacies, the founding of numerous companies, stakes in 3 pro athletic teams, and much more.

Nova Lorraine - also Jamaican born - was thrilled to attend and support her fellow UCONN alumnus, as both were athletes for the University of Connecticut Huskies. As part of her mission, Dr. Trisha Bailey wants to continue to support brown girls and boys around the globe, especially those interested in Medicine.
