If you love historical architecture and beautiful landscapes, Edinburgh, England is the place for you. Welcome to Edinburgh, England where H&M and Urban Outfitters are overlooked by an historic castle.
The most known landmark in Edinburgh, England is the Edinburgh Castle. As seen in the picture above, it remains as strong and magnificent as when it was first built. It may not be filled with soldiers ready to defend their country, but it is filled with people from all across the world who are fascinated by the castle’s beauty. After paying to enter the castle, (take advantage of group deals), visitors can go on a guided tour or tour the castle themselves. The castle has more to offer than its tuff exterior. The Inside of the castle is filled with magnificent treasures that were kept for the various royalties in England. Gleaming jewels and crowns capture the glamorous aspect of royalty. The castle also contains an old holding cell that was used for prisoners of war that looks uncomfortable to say the least. I’m not completely sure, but I think once in a while the castle fires the canons. The view from the castle is also astounding. Atop the castles viewers can see the lush green mountain tops and various buildings that also look like castles. Before you leave, make sure to go to the gift shop to buy a post card for a friend.
