Being a resident in the ample city of New York, there are little to no moments where one can leave these hastily streets of the big city to slip away. Propitiously, a friend of mine invited me to join his hometown festivities. For the modernized individuals who know of Portland: the stereotypical picture of Portland-ians would be an array of coffee shops, homegrown crops/floras, and rallies of well-dressed hipsters.
